Chauvin Arnoux PEL51, Power-Energy Logger (1-Channel)

The Chauvin Arnoux PEL51 is a compact and versatile 1-channel power and energy logger designed to measure and analyze electrical parameters. It provides a simple but comprehensive solution for electricians seeking to monitor consumption when trying to assess energy savings or to improve a building's energy efficiency.

The compact PEL51 fits in one hand and is easy to handle. Its magnetized casing allows you to position it in smaller electrical cabinets where space is at a premium. No need to cut off the mains to start using it. In addition, it is self-powered via the phase, making it ideal for longer campaigns.

The backlit multi-display LCD screen is particularly easy to read. The PEL51 is 1-channel and comes with the MA194-250 flexible AC current sensor.  It is perfect for logging on single phase, or can also be used on multi-phase systems by monitoring each phase at a time (if you need to log and monitor three-phases simultaneously then we'd recommend it's bigger brother the PEL103).

Measurement parameters include:

• TRMS voltage and current measurement
• Power measurement: W (P, Pf), [JP1] VA and var (N, Q1 and D)
• Measurement of PF, DPF, CF and THD

This tool is designed to seek ways of improving electrical consumption. To do this, they record the useful measurements (voltage, current, power values and energy values). They use Wifi
to communicate via an access point or server. The PEL 51 is the first instrument in this range and format to include the possibility of connection via an IRD server.
