Seaward's PATGuard 3 software is a comprehensive testing package that incorporates new Health & Safety risk assessment features. When the 4th Edition of the Code of Practice was released, the emphasis was put back into the use of risk assessments to determine test frequency. With PATGuard 3, risk assessment forms are included, that allow you to create general or PAT related risk assessments.
PATGuard 3 enables you to download PAT test data from Seaward testers, organising the tests at client, site and location level. This ensures you can maintain test history and movement of assets on a regular basis. If you're carrying out testing as a contractor, you can easily separate your contracts and produce test reports and invoices as required.
Whilst PATGuard 3 is currently a subscription based package, you are guaranteed to receive key updates and upgrades as the software is continually improved and the range of certificates (such as emergency lighting and fire alarms) are added to. Support is also freely available, so no need to purchase additional support contracts or trawl forums for answers to software issues.
PATGuard 3 fully supports the test capabilities of the new Apollo 500 and 600 testers, including the addition of digital images, risk assessment data and other safety certificates that are available. In addition it is still backward compatible with older downloading Seaward testers.
