The Seaward Apollo/Apollo+ 1-day training course teaches you how to use the only PAT tester which integrates PAT testing with risk assessment so you can efficiently comply with the latest IET Code of Practice. This course will not only cover how to use the features of the multi-tasking Apollo safety management tool in detail but will also provide you with knowledge to keep you ahead of the changes to best practice for PAT testing.
Units Covered:
Unit 1: An introduction to PAT Testing
We will provide a brief overview of the requirements for electrical safety testing in the workplace
Unit 2: Identifying the appliance
This course will provide you with the skills to identify appliances by type as defined by the Code of Practice and defines which tests that are necessary to ensure safe and comprehensive testing.
Unit 3: Commonly used tests
We will discuss the most commonly used tests required to comply with PAT testing best practice. We cover all aspects of testing from visual inspection through to functional checks and polarity testing complying with the IET Code of Practice 4th Edition.
Identifying & utilising the features of the Apollo Series and how to configure the Apollo to meet your specific requirements.
Unit 5: Using the Apollo/Apollo+
Manual & automatic testing is demonstrated, followed by a supervised practical session. Managing test results, with label downloads & results storage.
Ideal For - Those interested in purchasing, or who have purchased, the Seaward Apollo/Apollo+ Series. The course is taught by an authorised Seaward PAT expert and is suitable for a group of up to 10 persons.
Certification - All candidates will receive a certificate to confirm their attendance & completion of the 1-day course.
Location: - On site at either the Instrotech Training Centre (in Watford, close to London where car parking, lunch and all refreshments will be provided), or at your site or mainland UK location of your choosing.
