The Megger EST 75 High Voltage Discharge Rod is designed for high voltage engineers and cable testing technicians performing dielectric testing, fault location and HV cable diagnostics.
After high voltage cable testing, cables can retain dangerous stored energy. The EST 75 discharge rod safely discharges and earths cables up to 75 kV, removing residual voltage before technicians handle or ground the circuit.

The rod is manufactured from fibreglass-reinforced plastic with extended safety clearance, ensuring safe operation when working around high voltage equipment.
