What is the Fluke 709H Loop Calibrator?

The Fluke 709H Precision Loop Calibrator is designed for instrumentation engineers, process control technicians and maintenance engineers who need fast and reliable 4–20 mA loop calibration and HART device diagnostics in industrial environments.

This compact handheld calibrator allows technicians to source, simulate and measure current signals while powering transmitters, making it ideal for field calibration, troubleshooting process loops and commissioning instrumentation systems.

With built-in HART communication, the Fluke 709H allows technicians to read device information, trim mA output and diagnose transmitter performance without requiring a separate HART communicator.

How does the Fluke 709H improve process loop calibration?

The intuitive Quick-Set rotary encoder knob allows fast adjustments to current output and test settings, helping technicians complete loop calibration tasks more efficiently.

Technicians can also log HART data directly in the field, capturing transmitter measurements and configuration information. Using 709H/TRACK software, these records can be uploaded to a PC to document plant instrumentation and assist with maintenance reporting.

With 24 V loop power and precision measurement accuracy, the 709H simplifies commissioning, calibration and troubleshooting of process control loops.
