The Teledyne FLIR T540 is a professional level thermal imaging camera. This unit comes with a 24° auto-calibrating lens included as standard.
Other auto-calibrating lens options are available such as 42° wide angle to 14° telephoto and these can be supplied instead of, as well as, or in combinations of, and can be shared across the range – please call for pricing.
The Teledyne FLIR T5XX-Series are designed with the advanced Thermographer in mind by offering inspectors the necessary tools to support full in-depth surveys (often within challenging conditions) and especially when equipment is either obstructed from view or difficult to access.
The T540 features a 180° reticulating (rotating) optical head which is great for reducing strain from physically having to hold the camera in position for long periods as here you just move the optical block to where you wish it to point while holding the camera comfortably at waist height. Particularly useful when surveying overhead or below.
The pixel resolution is 464 x 348 giving 161,472 temperature measurement points (and with UltraMax image enhancement this takes it up to 645,888 effective pixels) which is great for scanning large areas. Thermal sensitivity is also high being less than 0.03°C (30mK) when used with a 42° lens.
Crisp imagery is obtained with laser assisted autofocus and displayed on the super bright, super clear, scratch resistant 4” LCD display enabling you to see problems and make decisions easily.
Intuitive to use with quick access menus, customizable work folders, and settings that the rapid response touchscreen and programmable buttons help facilitate. With Wi-Fi streaming to the Flir Tools App you can allow customers to see critical findings in real time, as well as preparing precise documentation that can embed GPS locations etc.
