The Teledyne FLIR E5-XT is a 160 x 120 pixel, 9Hz, thermal imaging camera with MSX enhancement that adds the detail of the digital image to the thermal image giving much greater clarity.
It features Wi-Fi connectivity which allows rapid image transfer to mobile devices via FLIR Tools mobile app making sharing images and sending reports from any location a doddle.
This model is ideal for basic checks in industrial and electrical applications, as well as looking for leaks in heating pipes or blockages in heating systems.
A 45° lens is fitted as standard, which makes it suitable for use in confined spaces, or where you want to get more of the object in the image, without moving further away. This model has a thermal sensitivity of 0.10°C (100mK) and additional temperature alarms.
With the MSX feature, the Teledyne FLIR E5-XT will capture a thermal, digital and MSX version of each image, enabling you to choose either one for your reports (stored as standard JPEG).
Lightweight at 575g and sturdy (can withstand 2-metre drop test) and backed with peace of mind manufacturer warranty of 2 years on the camera, 5 years on the battery and 10 years on the detector.
