Martindale TB118KITB, Gas Engineer Electrical Safety Kit

The Martindale TB118KITB is used widely by gas safety engineers to help achieve compliance to the Gas Safe Register Technical Bulletin 118. The kit includes tools for live voltage indication together with fused spur and MCB locking-off devices in a high-quality soft carry case. The kit also features the EZ664 socket tester to enable earth loop verification.

The EZ664 provides total socket testing flexibility by being able to connect either to a standard 13 amp plug or via flying leads, ideal when testing at fused spurs (also light fittings and terminals).

A key feature of the EZ664 is the ability to check the earth loop impedance of the wiring under test and indicate the measured value in six discrete ranges via three tricolour LEDs. The technology employed by the EZ664 allows the earth loop impedance to be measured with a 30mA or higher RCD in circuit without it tripping.
