Direct R2 measurements are possible with this compact extension test lead, which eliminates the requirement for crossover connections and R1 + R2 measurements. Prior to electrifying the circuit, the farthest point in the circuit may be easily verified, and every earth point on the circuit can be checked for integrity.
Connect one end of the lead to the main Earth terminal at the distribution board while working on a dead system to avoid parallel pathways. Connect the other end of the line to your continuity tester and use it to probe around the circuit CPC points for continuity and direct R2 readings.
