The Testo 816-1 is a data logging sound level meter that has Slow (1 sec) and Fast (125ms) modes. It features both A and C frequency weighting (‘A’ being human ear sensitivity, and ‘C’ being low frequency noise). It is great for taking measurements of sound level at workplaces, in industrial and production environments, as well as in public places.
The integrated data storage has a capacity of over 30,000 measurement values that can be stored in the instrument, these can then be accessed using PC software (included) and also allows online measurements over a longer period to be carried out.
By using a compatible sound level calibrator with ½” microphone sensor input, the Testo 816-1 can be recalibrated on site.
