What is the Di-LOG SL500?
The Di-LOG SL500 Expert Solar PV Installers Test Kit is a professional solar PV measurement kit designed for electricians, solar PV installers and maintenance engineers working on domestic and commercial photovoltaic systems. Combining the SL102 Solar Irradiance Meter with the DL6508 AC/DC Clamp Meter, it enables measurements of solar irradiance, open-circuit voltage (Voc), current and electrical power.
Comprehensive Solar PV Testing and Performance Checks
The SL500 supports Voc measurement up to 1000V DC through its DL6508 clamp meter, alongside AC/DC current measurement up to 1500A. The SL102 measures solar irradiance up to 1999 W/m² and features a dual display for viewing irradiance and PV voltage readings simultaneously, helping engineers assess solar panel conditions during installation and maintenance.
The DL6508 also provides True RMS measurements, resistance, frequency, capacitance and temperature measurement with a compatible K-type thermocouple, making the kit useful for electrical fault-finding and performance assessments.
