The Seaward 396A951 is an AC/DC current clamp designed for solar PV engineers and installers carrying out operational current measurements on photovoltaic systems. It connects to compatible Seaward solar installation testers and allows current to be measured without disconnecting the conductor.

The clamp provides 40A and 300A AC/DC ranges and uses Hall effect sensing to measure both AC and DC current. Its compact 22mm conductor capacity makes it suitable for clamping around PV system conductors during installation, commissioning and maintenance.
