What is the Di-LOG SL520?
The Di-LOG SL520 Expert Solar PV Test Kit is a comprehensive solar testing solution designed for electricians, solar PV installers and maintenance engineers carrying out installation surveys, commissioning and maintenance. Combining the SL104 Solar Irradiance Survey Meter with the DL6508 True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter, it provides essential measurements of solar irradiance, panel temperature, voltage and current in one convenient kit.
Comprehensive Solar PV Testing and Performance Checks
The SL520 supports open-circuit voltage (Voc) measurement up to 1000V DC and AC/DC current measurement up to 1500A. The included SL104 measures solar irradiance up to 1400 W/m², while its built-in and external temperature probes allow engineers to assess solar panel surface and underside temperatures.
With an integrated inclinometer and compass, the SL104 also helps determine roof pitch and array orientation during pre-installation surveys. The DL6508 adds True RMS measurement, inrush current, frequency, power and power factor functions for electrical fault-finding and performance checks.
