The Seaward Live Line Tester (LLT) is a two pole voltage detector that can detect DC voltages up to 1.1kV. It enables Service Engineers, Maintenance Personnel and Technical Staff to work safely. The LLT is used to verify that conductor rails / 3rd rails have been isolated from the power supply before maintenance or inspection work commences on rail track systems.

• Electrified bus and tram routes
The LLT has been designed specifically for the safe and practical detection of voltages on electrified rail systems above a threshold level of 300V DC and up to a maximum of 1100V DC.
Ultra-bright red LEDs and a polarising filter are built into the handle section of the tester to make the voltage indication clearly visible in all working environments and conditions – even in bright sunlight.
Designed and manufactured in compliance with international safety standard BS EN61243-3, the Live Line Test (LLT) unit is totally encapsulated in a shock resistant high impact rugged enclosure and is IP65 rated. The tester is also equipped with PVC hand guards and high visibility cable.
A dedicated proving unit (PH3-LLT) and carry case are available as accessories (sold separately).
