To achieve true high quality images three factors are involved:
- a detector with many pixels resulting in detailed high resolution images
- a detector with high sensitivity for seeing the smallest temperature differences
- a high quality powerful lens.
For the FLIR P-Series the combination of a very powerful lens and use of state of the art detector technology ensures the best image available of all performance cameras.
The better the sensitivity is the better the camera is to capture the finest image details even at low temperature differences. High detector sensitivity is particularly important for building applications where temperature differences are typically lower.
With the Flir P640 you get a large diameter lens for crisp IR images. The large LCD display, and simple camera controls make it easy to carry out inspections, and with its extra features you can thermally tune the image to show greater detail. This model adds extra features, such as more measurement functions, better zoom and video capture.
When working outdoors, the tiltable view finder can be used for viewing objects, so there is no need to worry about reflection from the LCD display.
