The Konica Minolta T-10MA is a professional grade illuminance meter that features a small receptor head of 16.5mm diameter with a 1m connecting cable, enabling measurements on small surfaces or situations where the receptor head of the T-10A cannot be placed. As a professional measuring instrument from Konica Minolta, the device conforms to international standards and can be calibrated each year to record traceable data.
The T-10MA is capable of measuring intermittent light sources. It has a very large measuring range of 0.01 to 299,000 lx with automatic range switching and a large, backlit LCD screen.
For special applications, the T-10MA is available with waterproof receptor and with either 5m or 10m connecting cable (T-10WsA).
Although designed for portability and simplicity, the instrument can also be connected to AC Power and operated via PC connection, refcording data directly into Excel for reporting and analysis. A single measuring instrument can be connected to upto 30 sensors to form a multi-point system for characterising lighting over a large area (requires additional measuring heads, accessories, AC power and PC connection).
Main Features
- Small receptor head to measure illuminance in special situations
- Accurate measurement of Pulse modulated Light sources (PWM)
- Automatic zero adjustment for immediate measurement
- Auto-range function for a wide measurement range
- LCD backlight for low illuminance levels
- Key cover to prevent accidental operation.
- USB interface supports direct connection to a PC
- Powered by standard AA-size batteries or AC Adaptor
Applications
Measurement in confined areas
Spot measurements where illuminated area is small
The operational functions are accessed using just 3 large buttons. An additional operating panel for less commonly used features is found under a sliding cover. This way, you are not distracted by additional operating elements during everyday work. A large, backlit liquid crystal display shows the measurement values; the illumination is automatically switched on as soon as it gets too dark.
The T-10MA offer the following possibilities for analysis:
- Absolute measurement of illuminance in Lux and foot candles.
- Comparison of illuminance values as a difference or percentage value. The target level can be entered by measurement or manual entry with the keypad.
- Integrated illuminance (exposure) with a display of the integration time and the illuminance mean value.
- Other evaluation options with the software optional T-S10w
Reliable, worry-free illuminance meters that conform to JIS AA Class and DIN Class B
Illuminance Meters T-10A and T-10MA conform to Class AA of JIS C 1609-1: 2006 "Illuminance meters Part 1: General measuring instruments" and DIN 5032 Part 7 Class-B " Photometry; classification of illuminance meters and luminance meters" requirements to provide high-accuracy, high-reliability, worry-free measurements.
Illuminance meters conforming to these standards are required for measurements of general illumination light sources, white LED lamps for illumination, etc. in a variety of industrial fields.
Removable receptor
The receptor and main body can be detached from each other and then connected using a LAN cable, making it easy to install as part of an inspection system.
Compatible with PWM-controlled lighting. Enables measurements of next-generation light sources.
Conventional illuminance meters often cannot accurately measure PWM-controlled light sources, but the T-10A series of illuminance meters can be used to accurately measure even such light
sources.
Easy, inexpensive multi-point measurement (2 to 30 points)
Illuminance distribution of a projector etc. can be easily measured with a single instrument and several receptors.
