Megger MIT1025, HV Insulation Tester (10kV)

Download capability and a host of pre-configured diagnostics tests make this 10kV tester ideal for testing the quality of insulation in products such as circuit breakers, bushings, cables, motors, transformers, generators and more.

With a 20TΩ resistance range, CAT IV 600V safety rating and IP65 rating, the Megger MIT1025 is suitable for use in most industrial applications. With its memory capability, you can measure and record the stability over time, giving you a long term set of results for analysis. In addition to the electrical tests, you can also store and record temperature, which is key as IR tests are temperature dependent.

A unique feature of this tester is the ability to carry out a test when the battery is dead, provided the unit is connected to mains power. Intelligent battery charging also ensures the Li-Ion battery is charged in minimal time.

There are five pre-configured diagnostic tests featured in the MIT1025, including Polarisation Index, Dielectric Discharge, Dielectric Absorption Ratio, Stepped Voltage and Ramp Test. Operation of the tester is simple, via the two rotary dials on the front of the unit, and the large backlit LCD can display a number of results simultaneously.
