The Megger EVCA210-UK is an electric vehicle charge-point adaptor (EVCA) designed to work in conjunction with a multifunction/single function electrical tester to enable electrical contractors to perform and test all of the functions for Mode 3 AC Electric Vehicle Charge-points. It is specifically designed to be compact, simple to use, and to fully comply with UK, European and other International wiring regulations and standards.
The EVCA can be used on all single phase and three phase electric vehicle charge points, with appropriate adaptors. It is designed to test the function and safety of a charging point. The adaptor allows you to conduct tests on EV charging points (with a single or multifunction tester -such as the Megger MFT1741+) in accordance with IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722 where charging points should be tested as part of the initial installation and thereafter periodically.
The adaptor can be connected to the tester either with the universal 4mm connections or via the front mounted mains socket. It also features a manual PE Pre-Test feature to allow the User to test for dangerous voltages present on PE before undertaking any other testing.
Included are two connection cables as standard (Type 2 for panel mounted socket socket outlet or fixed cable with vehicle connector, and a Type 1 for charging points with fixed Type 1 cable connector -such as found on the Mitsubishi PHEV for example).

Hire deposits are only applicable to non-credit account holders and are refunded in full upon return inspection of the equipment.
Delivery & Return Collection
We know people need rental equipment quickly so we use a pre-10.30am courier service (only £15.00 ex-VAT per way per consignment) for mainland UK addresses, alternatively you are welcome to collect and return via your own means.
Delivery to some outlying areas, Highlands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and offshore isles will incur additional charges, please contact us for details.
