Nothing is more dangerous than trusting a defective voltage indicator. The proving unit produces 690V AC to enable voltage indicators to be fully checked. With its improved design, the PD690 proving unit will also work on other manufacturers voltage indicators, including the Fluke T50, T100, T120, T140 & T5-1000. The proving unit can also be powered from a 12V supply, for instance from a vehicle. This unique feature is ideal for those who are working outside where there may not be a known source available or when batteries are running low.
This PD690 is low impedance compatible and suitable for indicators such as the Martindale VI13700G & VI13800 as well as indicators from other manufacturers.
The PD690 can also check Drummond and other filament test lamps as its output is sufficient to illuminate the bulb.
