Martindale CD1000 Cable Detector Kit Hire

Location of dead circuits, or tracing fuses on dead circuits, is a simple task with the Martindale CD1000. Conventional fuse finders require power to be present on the circuit in order to work, however with the CD1000, the signal generator is battery powered, ensuring you can trace whether the circuit is live or not.

The CD1000 can be used on a number of circuit types and it has up to 6 different frequency ranges to enable location where there are lots of cables, or possible interference from communications cables. In addition to the standard tracing, the CD1000 can be used to locate breaks in cables, tracing of underfloor heating pipes, locating underground cable (up to 2.5m) and detection of live circuits with it's built-in non-contact voltage detector.

Both the transmitter and receiver tool feature a powerful LED torch for connections in darkened areas, and a ground spike is included for tracing outdoors. This comprehensive cable detector represents the best value for money on the market and is supplied in a soft carry case.

Hire Information & Pricing

The Martindale CD1000 is supplied with a transmitter, receiver, test leads, batteries and instruction manual.

Hire deposits are only applicable to non-credit account holders and are refunded in full upon return inspection of the equipment.

Delivery & Return Collection

We know people need rental equipment quickly so we use a pre-10.30am courier service (only £15.00 ex-VAT per way per consignment) for mainland UK addresses, alternatively you are welcome to collect and return via your own means. Delivery to some outlying areas, Highlands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and offshore isles will incur additional charges, please contact us for details.
