The Fluke VR1710 is a simple solution for detecting single phase voltage problems. The unit simply plugs into the wall socket and records voltage trends, dropouts, harmonics and general power quality including dips and surges. This data is essential in helping to pinpoint the root cause of voltage problems.
A full range of voltage quality parameters are recorded, including RMS average, transients, flicker and harmonics up to the 32nd. The recording period is a suer defined average period from 1 second to 20 minutes.
The Fluke VR1710 voltage disturbance recorder is supplied with software that gives a clear graphical summary of the data and quick overview of the key power quality parameters. Comprehensive data includes Min, Max, Average RMS values (1/4 cycle) with time stamps and a detailed actual transient display (> 100µs) with time stamp. In addition comprehensive analysis of the individual harmonic and THD values with trends can also be made.
Key Applications of the Fluke VR1710
Voltage Recording - Monitors and records supply voltage; measures RMS average, minimum and maximum values, and checks whether the socket outlet is providing voltage within tolerance.
Distortion Measurement - Measure frequency and harmonics; check whether the distorting loads (UPS systems, drives etc) are affecting your other equipment.
Flicker Measurement - Quantify the affects of switching loads on lighting systems.
Voltage Transients - Capture intermittent, momentary events that may be affecting your equipment; the full waveform is captured with date, timestamp and duration.
The Fluke VR1710 is supplied with USB cable, PowerLog software CD, manual on CD ROM and universal power cord adaptors.
