    Technical Support

The FLIR E6 is a 160 x 120 pixel thermal camera with MSX enhancement that adds the detail of the digital image to the thermal. This is an excellent entry level camera for those carrying out basic electrical and industrial surveys. It's also suited to basic building diagnostics such as moisture detection, water leaks in pipes, heating system blockages and general heat loss.

Note: The product image shown is a true representation of the quality of thermal image this camera will produce.

A 45° lens is fitted as standard with this model, which makes it suitable for use in confined spaces, or where you want to get more of the object in the image, without moving further away. This model adds a better sensitivity at 0.06°C (60mK) and additional temperature alarms. The E6 replaces the old E30 model, which has now been discontinued.

The digital camera fitted on this model is 0.3 megapixel and has auto adjustment for low light levels. With the MSX feature, the FLIR E4 will capture a thermal, digital and MSX version of each image, enabling you to choose either one for your reports. Up to 200 images can be stored on the internal memory for download to the free FLIR Tools software package.
