FLIR DM166, Thermal Imaging Multimeter

The Teledyne FLIR DM166 is a great diagnostic tool for field electronics, commercial electric, light industrial, field service, and HVAC work. In essence, the Flir DM166 is a good value TRMS Digital Multimeter (DMM) with an integrated thermal imager built in.

The DM166 shares most of the platform and DNA of the Teledyne FLIR DM284 and DM285 which are the bigger brothers. The DM166 includes the following features:

• 80 x 60 pixel resolution on the thermal imager (4,800 temperature measurement points).

• TRMS digital Multimeter

• AC/DC Volts (inc. mV), AC/DC Amps (inc. mA), Resistance, Capacitance, Diode Test, Frequency Counter

• Temperature via Type-K thermocouple.

• Continuity check (30Ω and 480Ω)

• IP40 rated and drop tested to 3m

• 3x AA batteries (or optional TA04 Li-Poly rechargeable –sold separately)
