The CM174 is an All-in-one device combining thermal imaging with the full functionality of a clamp meter, and with a compact form-factor so it can fit in your back pocket. By using the thermal imager you can quickly identify precise locations of potential electrical issues and then verify your findings with accurate current and voltage load measurements with the clamp meter facility and centre-point temperature readings to confirm hot spots. The thermal imager features laser and crosshair pinpointing to get to the precise location of any problems uncovered. It is great to use where cabling and wiring may be cluttered as you can home in on troublesome areas very quickly. It also helps contribute to a safe working environment as now you have the capability to scan a panel or cabinet for potential hazards without the need for physical contact or carrying multiple tools as you always have access to thermal imaging within your standard tool set.

On the clamp meter side, the Teledyne FLIR CM174 features a narrow jaw and built-in work lights to help you access difficult locations that may have lighting issues. The advanced electrical features include measuring: True RMS, LoZ, VFD Mode, Inrush and with Smart Diode with Disable. The unit can be expandable to 3000 Amps AC with optional FLIR flex accessories.
