The Fluke PRV240 is a portable, pocket-sized, battery-powered proving unit that operates at 240V AC/DC for both LoZ (Low Impedance) and HiZ (High Impedance) instruments such as multi-meters, clamp meters, or two pole testers.
Highly suitable for complying with Test-Before-Test (TBT) verification procedures for test tool validation, or as part of a safe isolation process to prove dead circuit (when used in conjunction with a voltage indicator or two pole tester).
Voltage is switched on when test probes are inserted into the front panel test ports and is indicated by a single LED. The PRV240 features a long battery life of up to 5,000 tests per set of 4 x AA batteries (included) and there is also a TPAK magnetic hanging strip in the box so you don’t need to worry about losing the proving unit under a pile of jumble –simply hang up onto anything ferrous.
