Megger Voltage Tester and Proving Unit Kit

This Megger Voltage Indicator & Proving Unit Kit includes the popular Megger TPT420 Two Pole Voltage Tester and Megger MPU690 Proving Unit to used to determine if a circuit is dead as part of a safe isolation process.

The Megger TPT420 voltage tester is designed to provide electricians and electrical engineers with an easy-to-use voltage indicating instrument. The meter will continue to warn the operator of dangerous test voltages even when the batteries are exhausted. With both LCD and LED displays, the TPT420 provides both AC and DC voltage measurement - from 12 to 1000 V AC and up to 1500 V DC. In addition, a continuity function within the range 0 to 500 kΩ, is included and for added safety, continuity and voltage measurements are also accompanied by an acoustic sounder.

The Megger MPU690 is a proving unit from Megger that is convenient to prove the safe operation of two-pole testers and Drummond Test Lamps.

Capable of testing two-pole voltage detectors and test lamps due to 10W output.

Step voltage LEDs indicate voltage being generated. 50V, 100V, 230V, 400V, and 690V.

Generates AC waveform for a true test.

Compact design that has an integral magnet for attaching to the cabinet encourages routine safety checks.
