Accidental shorts between test probes and other metal surfaces can cause an arc flash explosion. Test probes with less exposed metal help limit the possibility of inadvertent shorts between each other and other metal surfaces.
The L200 probe light, TP280 test probe extenders, TL224 test leads, and TP220 test probes are all included in the set.
