These are a great accessory as the magnetic tips provide a firm connection to ferromagnetic metal surfaces. This is ideal to use for taking measurements where access to a conductor is limited. For example, these magnetic probes will make a solid connection via steel screws on RCDs or Circuit Breakers leaving you to work safely and hands-free.
