Power Quality Survey, Full Onsite Service

The Instrotech Power Quality Survey is an all-inclusive specialist service where a power quality expert comes onsite to you to carry out a power quality (PQ) survey on your behalf. Literally everything you need is covered including:

• Power analyser installation on-site by an industry recognised power quality expert.
• Power quality analyser hire
• Survey and test equipment set-up.
• Test equipment rental.
• Analyser uninstalled and retrieved from site.
• Data downloaded.
• Full professional written power quality report.

The Power Quality survey will measure and monitor the following parameters:

• RMS Voltage.*
• RMS Current.
• Power (kW, kVA, kVAR).*
• Power Factor (PF).*
• Total Harmonic Distortion (THD I, THD V*).
• Harmonics (Current Harmonics, Voltage Harmonics*).

*Measurement and calculation of Voltage, Voltage Harmonics, THD V, Power Factor, kW, kVA and kVAR require voltage connection. If this is not possible, monitoring will be for current measurements only.

The Instrotech Power Quality Survey is a great value-added service enabling those with little, or limited, power quality experience to be able to offer professional PQ surveying capabilities to industry standards into their portfolio of offerings.

It is perfect for Electricians, Contractors, Subcontractors, Facilities, Maintenance and Site Engineers, as well as for Energy Managers to understand site consumption and power quality issues.

Please note:

• The electrical contractor will need to be present for connection and disconnection of the equipment to ensure we can work safely and isolate the measurement point, if required.
• The meter requires a mains supply, or access to voltage connections, to power the instrument.
• The report and analysis of the results will be made with our Power Quality Health Check service (INS-PQHC).
• The price includes one survey at one supply point onsite. If multiple surveys/units are required then please contact us for further information (typically we will quote for additional analyser(s) hire plus PQ report voucher(s) for each measuring point).
