Location of dead circuits, or tracing fuses on dead circuits, is a simple task with the Martindale CD1000. Conventional fuse finders require power to be present on the circuit in order to work, however with the CD1000, the signal generator is battery powered, ensuring you can trace whether the circuit is live or not.
The CD1000 can be used on a number of circuit types and it has up to 6 different frequency ranges to enable location where there are lots of cables, or possible interference from communications cables.
