Launched on 1st October 2013, the FLIR E4 represents outstanding value for money and supersedes the old FLIR i3 model. Ideal for basic electrical, industrial and building applications, the FLIR E4 features an 80 x 60 pixel thermal resolution and FLIR's unique MSX technology. MSX adds the detail of the digital image to the thermal, making it easier to locate where the problems are, even with a lower thermal resolution.
This camera has been designed with simplicity in mind. It features fixed focus, easy-to-use menu navigation and simple image capture. In addition it has a 45° wide angle lens built-in, which is ideal for working in confined spaces.
NOTE: The thermal images shown on the cameras are a true representation of the image the camera will render
Example of FLIR MSX Enhanced Image (320 x 240 Pixel Resolution)
The E4 has a 0.3 megapixel digital camera with a low-light adjustment feature, this means there is no need for extra lighting, thus saving battery power. With the MSX feature, the FLIR E4 will capture a thermal, digital and MSX version of each image, enabling you to choose either one for your reports. Up to 200 images can be stored on the internal memory for download to the free FLIR Tools software package.
