Chauvin Arnoux CA8230 - Single Phase Power Quality Analyser

The Chauvin Arnoux CA8230 is a power quality analyser suitable for use on single-phase or balanced three-phase systems and designed to be used by electricians and installers in maintenance and construction with the ability to measure in-rush / starting current that is particularly useful when assessing the impact of machinery powering up.

It has safety features built in such as the ability to automatically recognise the type of sensor connected. Really useful is that it takes all power measurements in parallel saving you time from having to do each type of test individually. It has been designed with ease of use in mind as it offers direct access to functions and is suitable for both bench top or out on site use.

The CA8230 is fully loaded and provides you with all the power measurements you are likely to need to measure and qualify your electrical network harmonics.

An Inrush mode for starter currents will show your waveform in detail during several seconds. The CA 8230 also has a recording mode and a trigger mode for alarms.

Please note, if you are working on a three-phase system and suspect that your phases maybe imbalanced then you will need to use a different instrument such as one of the Qualistar range by Chauvin Arnoux (the big brother to the CA 8230).
