Chauvin Arnoux CA6255, Micro Ohmmeter (10A)

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6255 is a micro-ohmmeter (otherwise known as a “ductor” or “low ohmmeter”) with a really high accuracy as it has a resolution going down as low as 0.1μΩ. This makes it a great unit for use in checking the low-resistance quality of your connections and bonds.

An easy-to-use, high-performance instrument, the CA6255 micro-ohmmeter tests the quality of connections with precision (resolution of 0.1 µΩ) through the use of low resistance measurements.

4-wire measurement method, 1 µΩ to 2,500Ω (7x ranges, 3x with a 10A current) with automatic compensation of stray voltages at input terminals.

Three measurement modes available depending on the application:

1. Inductive – use on inductive components (transformers, motors, etc.)

2. Non-inductive – for measuring resistors with a time constant of a few ms (contacts, metallization, etc.)

3. Non-inductive with automatic trigger:

- for measurements on resistors without a time constant

- for repetitive measurements in production, saving considerable time
