This digital flash tester is a portable mains operated instrument, capable of operating from either 115V or 230V supplies at 50/60Hz. It can apply up to 4kV AC and displays both output voltage and leakage current on the twin 3½ digit LCD’s.
The fail lamp illuminates and the buzzer sounds in the chosen modes:
- Trip - will trip when pre-determined current is exceeded;
- Breakdown - fast transients can trigger the trip;
- Burn - where the trip function is by-passed and the fault current flows continuously to expose the fault;
- Hold shows the breakdown voltage and the leakage current;
Hire
The E3640 is supplied with flash gun, earth lead, mains lead and manual.
The standard hire charge is £150.00 per week.
If no account is held with Instrotech, then a deposit of 5 times the weekly amount is payable, this is refunded upon return inspection of the hire.
Delivery and return collection (if required) is charged at £30 in total, this guarantees the unit is delivered before 10.30am on the first day of the hire.
