Martindale PD440 - Proving Unit (440V AC)

Using a voltage indicator without first proving it is working correctly has proved fatal. The Martindale PD440 is a 430V AC proving unit, designed to enable voltage indicators to be fully checked, in compliance with Health & Safety recommendations. The proving unit can also be powered from a 12V supply, for instance from a vehicle. This unique feature is ideal for those who are working outside where there may not be a known source available or when batteries are running low.

The PD440 is low impedance compatible and suitable for the Martindale VI13700/2, VI13800, Drummond MTL10 & MTL20.

The PD440 can also be used to check Drummond and other filament test lamps as well as standard multimeters and other manufacturers two pole voltage indicators, including the Fluke T100 series, T5-600 & 1000, Megger TPT testers and many more.
