Fluke have launched an innovative new multimeter, the CNX 3000<\/a>, with several datalogging modules that can be connected wirelessly allowing you to see the results in realtime, from a safe distance.<\/p>\n

This is a customisable system that means you can make multiple measurements simultaneously, up to 20 metres away from the module.<\/p>\n

Work Safer with the CNX 3000 System<\/b><\/p>\n

The design of the modules means you can quickly connect them to systems and leave them in-situ to log over a period of time. The wireless signal will transmit over a distance of 20 metres, even through a panel door, ensuring the user remains at a safe distance whilst monitoring or downloading the results.<\/p>\n

Monitor 10 Parameters Simultaneously<\/b><\/p>\n

The design of the CNX system allows for up to 10 individual modules to be connected to either the digital multimeter or a PC (using the PC3000 module). Up to 3 simultaneous readings can be viewed on the multimeter, or all 10 can be viewed via the PC.<\/p>\n

Datalogging Capability for Analysis Over Time<\/b><\/p>\n

Each module has the capability to store up to 65,000 readings and using the PC software, you can set the logging intervals from as low as 1 second up to 1 hour.<\/p>\n

Measure Voltage, Current and Temperature<\/b><\/p>\n

The CNX system has modules for measuring current up to 2500A AC, Voltage up to 1000V AC and temperature up to 1372\u00c2\u00b0C. Where a basic 3 phase analyser will cost around \u00c2\u00a31,000 + VAT, the CNX system will save you over \u00c2\u00a3250 off this price*.<\/p>\n

Powerful Wireless Communication<\/b><\/p>\n

Because this system is designed for use in an industrial environment, Fluke use Zigbee Radios with a propriety overlay to ensure the signal is not affected by interference from other plant and equipment, such as microwaves, mobile phones, milling machines and radios etc.<\/p>\n

Customise your System<\/b><\/p>\n

A range of pre-configured kits are available, however the flexibility of the wireless system means you can customise it to your specific application or requirements. Extra modules can be purchased and added to an existing system as needed.<\/p>\n

This method is future proof, as Fluke brings out additional modules, you will be able to simply add them to your existing setup.<\/p>\n

Simple Download to a PC<\/b><\/p>\n

Data captured by the modules can be easily downloaded to a laptop or PC via the wireless system. Data can be quickly exported to Excel for post analysis and further reporting.
