Instrotech have been supplying test equipment for nearly 40 years and we are committed to the safety of our employees, customers, and visitors.
With the current uncertainty surrounding the changing situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus I feel it appropriate to communicate the recent steps we have implemented to help mitigate and reduce the risk of virus spread:
- Stock levels: To ensure continued supply we have increased our stock levels of popular products and particularly on temperature measuring equipment (e.g. infrared thermometers, thermal imaging cameras, thermometers).
- Training Courses: Onsite and Offsite courses are suspended for March and April. Beyond this we will review on an ongoing basis in-line with official guidance.
- Site Visits / Demonstrations: As above, in the meantime we are able to continue to support via phone, email, online chat, and via video/web link. We request that visits to our site are reduced. Please don’t be offended that we don’t shake your hand and if we keep our distance. Sanitisation stations are provided and some staff are implementing personal protection (masks and gloves).
- Calibration Services: We need to be prepared to operate the lab on a reduced staff level for when people need to self-isolate. To help ease the burden we have decided to temporarily suspend the Priority 24hr and Same Day services (all other services are unaffected). This will also help allow time for equipment to be quarantined to ensure we do our utmost to prevent any virus spread.
