The NEW Seaward Primetest 250 portable appliance tester is an innovation from Seaward. Not only does this lightweight, handheld PAT tester carry out all the required tests for standard Class I & Class II appliances, its unique design also includes tests for RCDs and 3 phase appliances (extra adaptors required).
This easy-to-use portable appliance tester features a one button test process for Class I, Class II & Leads, with optional test buttons for leakage, RCDs and 3 Phase testing. The Seaward Primetest 250 improves on the features of the Primetest 100, adding the ability to change the pass thresholds for leakage, and change the insulation voltage to 250V.
Carrying out IT equipment tests with the Seaward Primetest 250
The Primetest 250 portable appliance tester performs an earth bond test at 200mA, which is completely safe for IT equipment, in addition tester also features a 250V insulation test, which enables you to test any surge protected devices.
